At a time when Soviet ideologists dictated the musical taste of Soviet people, Juris Lapinskis offered an alternative. Since the 1960s, he has shared and distributed a wide variety of Western music. Music shared by Lapinskis reached people both in Latvia and Russia. And maybe thanks to him, in the 60s and 70s, Western music idols can add thousands of former Soviet citizens to their supporters. Lapinskis himself was imprisoned and repaired. At that time there was something more than music in these tape rollers, a little more on the other side of the iron curtain - a little more air and a little more freedom.
Just because you've gotten to where you're going doesn't mean you have to get off your bike. Bootleg Sessions Volume 3 is your guide to finding fun on your daily driver after you've made it from point A to point B.
We received this bootleg of the ESB Spike broadcast in Times Square. Since there was no audio, %20 added fourteen fan commentary or ESB 30th anniversary podcasts which were sync'd up at the starting point of the crawl. Since a DVD can only have eight audio tracks, each of the commentaries were mono'd and shifted to the left or right channel. Use this disc to practice your audio shifting and commentary channel switching abilities, while you get an in-depth listen to the public's continued fascination with this movie sequel.
For the Saturday night performance from Marillion Weekend 2005, the band decided to choose their favourite "up-tempo" songs to create a high-energy party vibe for the night. Slower more atmospheric songs were then selected to end the Weekend on the Sunday night, creating a completely different show and feel. Mixed by Dave Meegan and available on audio downloads as Smoke and Mirrors, the 2 live shows included on Bootleg Butlins were filmed using only 3 cameras. This DVD gives you the feel of being not just AT but IN the show - a true memento of the Marillion Weekend 2005.

A concert recording from The Summit on Dec. 8, 1978. Obviously nothing could compare to being there, but those in attendance are likely to be goosed seeing Springsteen and the E Street Band slashing through these 26 songs. There’s little point in singling out songs because the performance was relentlessly frenzied (though Streets of Fire is fittingly incendiary). Was the show better than others from the tour? Who knows, but it’s an awesome marriage of brawn and brain in a single rock concert.
Vegan punk rockers Propagandhi perform in their native Winnipeg in this live 2003 show filmed by crowd members and recorded and mixed by the band. A bunch of bootleggers run booze in the South.
This is the second silent (save for a song) slapstick comedy short about adventures of Worldly, Coward, and Fool. In a small hunting lodge three friends are making illegal moonshine. Bottled "product" fills shelves quickly. Life is good. But their dog Barbos doesn't understand that bringing a moonshine condenser coil to a police station is a bad idea...
A group of gangsters escape from prison and attempt to destroy a rival organisation holed up in a convent in Mexico.
Based on the book of the same name by Alex Shearer; a new political party called the "Good for You" (abbreviated as GFY) which comes into power and bans chocolate. Two kids named Smudger Moore and Huntley Hunter want to get their chocolate back. They begin by selling bootleg chocolate, and go on to join an underground resistance organization.
Chocolate is now illegal. The story takes place in present day, the Good for You Party has won the election and announced the amazing Chocolate Prohibition law. They prohibit all sweet things, including chocolates, because they are harmful to ones health. Two boys, Huntley and Smudger, stand up to fight against the law. With help from Louise and other friends, they begin to bootleg chocolate.
