The film opens space for Dona Romana, a religious leader widely known in Tocantins and in Brazil, to tell us her story and show us a little of her world, physically settled in the rural area of the city of Natividade, the oldest municipality in the state of Tocantins and history closely linked to slavery and Afro-descendant populations.
